Tailgating Foods/Appetizers

BBQ Meatballs (approximately 60 meatballs)

2 packages frozen meatballs
1 bottle Just Leave the Bones Original BBQ Sauce
1 jar (12 oz) chili sauce
4 TBSP grape jelly

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot set on low for approximately 1 hr. Stir to make sure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Meatballs are ready usually after 1.5-2 hours on low.

BBQ Chicken Dip

1.5 lbs pulled BBQ Chicken (recipe in Main Dish section of this page)
2 packages of cream cheese
12 ounces Ranch dressing
8 ounces Just Leave the Bones Original BBQ Sauce
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Combine first four ingredients and 3 cups of the cheese together in a large mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour mixture into a casserole dish and place in a preheated oven to 325 degrees for 30 min. Remove and spread remaining cheddar cheese on top. At this time you can also add a light sprinkle of BBQ sauce if desired. Place back in oven long enough for cheese to melt. Remove and serve with chips or crackers.

BBQ Chicken Wings

1 Family pack of chicken wings (approximately 12 whole wings)
1 bottle Just Leave the Bones Original BBQ Sauce
1 bottle Just Leave the Bones Eastern Carolina Vinegar base sauce
Salt and Pepper

Rinse chicken under water and place in large zip lock bag or large mixing bowl. Pour in enough of the Eastern Carolina Vinegar sauce to coat the wings and place in fridge for 1-4 hours. Light grill to a temp between 300-325 degrees. Remove wings from fridge, lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper and place on a clean grill grate. You can also use the vinegar based sauce as a basting sauce to ensure juicy wings. Try to flip no more than twice and brush with Just Leave the Bones Original sauce the last 10 minutes on the grill. Remove and enjoy with your favortite ranch or blue cheese dressings.

Beef Brisket Sliders (approximately 10-12 sliders)

2 lbs sliced brisket (recipe in Main Dish section of this page)
Smokin' Skullies Cole Slaw (recipe in Side Dish section of this page)
1 bottle Just Leave the Bones Original BBQ Sauce
12 slider buns
Butter

Lightly coat the buns with butter and toast. After toasting the buns you can now serve by placing Smokin' Skullies cole slaw on bottom half of bun then add your brisket slices. Pour Just Leave the Bones Original BBQ Sauce over top to taste and enjoy. You may also offer additional toppings for the sliders such as sliced onion, jalapenos, pickles, lettuce, etc.
